Embarked on a unique journey of perception at our recent exhibition, where the ordinary transformed into the extraordinary. Titled "Broken Tiles," this immersive experience invited visitors to contemplate the simple yet overlooked aspects of daily surroundings.
The exhibition posed intriguing questions about how we perceived the world. Did you ever notice a coin on the sidewalk during your strolls? Or did your eyes instinctively wander upward to the sky? Perhaps you never considered the intricate dance of navigating a sidewalk without stepping on the lines or avoiding broken fragments.
Under the creative guidance of our lecturer, Iva Rehova, and her talented assistant, Gulgez Irem Ercan, the exhibition featured a series of experimental classes that seamlessly blended technology and imagination. The inception of this visual exploration was sparked by the captivating photographs of our friend Lucie S. These images served as the catalyst for a collaborative journey where various materials and mediums were employed to articulate our distinct perspectives.
The exhibition served as a visual summary, a testament to the diverse ways in which we perceived the seemingly random objects that surrounded us. Through the lens of creativity, technology, and the collective imagination of the participants, "Broken Tiles" unfolded as a celebration of the beauty found in the everyday, prompting visitors to reconsider the world through fresh eyes.
Visitors joined us as we unveiled the unseen, turning mundane moments into profound reflections on the art of seeing. "Broken Tiles" invited everyone to step beyond the ordinary and embrace the extraordinary in the world that surrounded us every day.
